During the 2019–20 coronavirus outbreak, Bosnia and Herzegovina remained free of laboratory-confirmed SARS-CoV-2 cases as of 4 March 2020.
Early notice of COVID-19[edit]
On 26 January 2020, as Corona Virus was noticed worldwide. Academicic female Mirsada Hukic for Daily Voice said: "We all need to get rid of coronavirus"[1] Although there are no reported cases of Corona Virus infection in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has already spread to many countries around the world, there is also fear in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with doctors warning that they must take precautions.
Timeline[edit]
As of 25 February, 11 people were under surveillance as suspected cases.[2] In Sarajevo, three Chinese tourists who were showing symptoms had negative test results for the virus.[3]
On 2 March 2020, a man from Tomislavgrad was suspected to have brought Coronavirus from Italy, and was sent to Mostar for a health checkup. His test result was negative.[4]
