The 2021–22 Ashes series is an upcoming series of Test cricket matches contested between England and Australia for The Ashes. The series will be played at five venues across Australia between November 2021 and January 2022. Australia are the defending holders of the Ashes going into the series, having drawn the 2019 series, and previously won in 2017–18. The Test series is expected to form part of the 2021–23 ICC World Test Championship.
