2022 South Carolina gubernatorial election

The 2022 South Carolina gubernatorial election will take place on November 8, 2022, to elect the Governor of South Carolina. Incumbent Republican Governor Henry McMaster took office on January 24, 2017 upon the resignation of Nikki Haley and was elected to a full term at his own right in 2018. He is eligible to run for re-election for a second full term in office.
