The 2024–25 Kentucky Outlaws season was their first season in the National Hockey League (NHL). It began inauspiciously, with the firing of Rudy Pilous before the expansion draft. The Outlaws started their inaugural season with Lanny McDonald as both coach and general manager, assisted by HeyItsToriable.
