The 2024 Big Matches is the 2024 edition of Big Matches, a set of annual school Cricket match series played between pairs of schools across Sri Lanka.[1]
Venues
The following is a list of venues where Big Matches were held in 2024.[2]

Fixtures
Following is the list of Cricket match series taking place in the 2024 edition of Big Matches.[1] Starting with the 61st Battle of the Brothers.
61st Battle of the Brothers (Colombo)
Played between Thurstan College and Isipathana College, a test match was held on 24 and 25 February 2024 in Singhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground.[3] The 44th one-day encounter was held on 17th of March 2024 in the same venue.
94th Battle of the Maroons (Colombo)
Played between Ananda College and Nalanda College in Singhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground. The test match was held on 6 and 7 March 2024 played for the Dr N. M. Perera Memorial Shield. The one-day match was held on 17 March 2024 played for the P. de S Kularatne Memorial trophy.
145th Battle of the Blues (Colombo)
Played between Royal College and St. Thomas' College in Singhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground. The Test Match was held on 7th, 8th and 9th March 2024 for the D.S. Senanayake Shield. The 47th One-Day match was held on 16 March 2024 for the Mustangs Trophy.
119th Lovers' Quarrel
The test match was played between Richmond College and Mahinda College in Galle International Stadium. It was held on 15 and 16 March 2024.[4]
105th Hill Country Battle of the Blues
Played between Trinity College and St. Anthony's College. The test match was held on 15 and 16 March 2024 in Katugasthota. The 42nd One-Day match was held on 23 March 2024 in Asgiriya.[5][6]
117th Hill Capital Battle of the Maroons
Played between Dharmaraja College and Kingswood College in Pallekelle International Cricket Stadium. It was held on 22 and 23 March of 2024[7]. The limited-over match will be held on the 31st of March 2024 at the same venue. [8]
90th Battle of the Saints (Colombo)
Played between St. Joseph's College and St. Peter's College in Singhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground. The test match was held on 22 and March 2024. The one-day match was held on April 06 2024.
64th Battle of the Babes
Played between St. Sylvester's College and Vidyartha College. Test match was held on 29 and 30 March 2024 in Pallekelle International Cricket Stadium.[9]
18th Battle of the Golds (Colombo)
Played between DS Senanayake College and Mahanama College. The test match was held on 29 and 30 March 2024 and the one-day match was held on April 21st 2024 in Singhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground.[10]
71st Battle of the Golds (Panadura and Moratuwa)
Played between Moratu Maha Vidyalaya and Sri Sumangala College in Tyronne Fernando Stadium. The test match was held on 29 and 30 March 2024.[11] The one-day match was held on 31st of March 2024. [12]
40th Battle of the Rocks
Played between Maliyadeva College and St. Anne's College in Welagedara. The test match was held on 05 and 06 April 2024.[13] The 26th One-Day match was held on 07 April 2024.[14]
