The 2024 NBA All-Star Game was an exhibition game to be played in 2021 that had been canceled because of the COVID-19 Pandemic. It will be the 72nd edition of this game. The game will be hosted by the Indiana Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. This will be the second time that Indianapolis would have hosted the All-Star Game; the last time the game was played in the city was in 1985, at the RCA Dome. The game would have been televised nationally by TNT for the 19th consecutive year.[1]
The announcement of the site selection was made November 15, 2020 in a tweet by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Additional events including a celebrity game and practices open to the public will be held at the adjacent Indiana Convention Center. The City of Indianapolis hopes to see an 8-figure ($10,000,000) economic impact surrounding the game.[2]
