The 2025 World Series will be the championship series of Major League Baseball’s (MLB) 2025 season. The 121st edition of the World Series, it will be a best-of-seven playoff between the National League (NL) champion and the American League (AL) champion.[1] It will be televised nationally by Fox.

Television
For the 26th straight year, the world series will be televised in the United States by Fox. Play-by-play announcer Joe Davis will call the games along with Baseball Hall of Famer John Smoltz as color analyst and Ken Rosenthal and Tom Verducci as field reporters. Kevin Burkhardt will host the pregame and postgame shows, joined by analysts Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, and David Ortiz.
