2026 MLB All-Star Game

The city of Philadelphia was awarded the 2026 MLB All-Star Game on April 16, 2019. After several weeks of speculation, MLB commissioner Rob Manfred awarded Philadelphia the 2026 MLB All-Star Game during a press conference, calling the game "one of the worst-kept secrets in America." The MLB awarded Philadelphia the game as part of the planned celebration for the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

The game will be held at Citizens Bank Park for the first time since its 2004 opening. Overall, it will be the 5th All-Star game in Philadelphia, the last hosted at Veterans Stadium in 1996. The city of Philadelphia's plan is to use the MLB All-Star Game to attract other major events to Philadelphia to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.

The 2019 MLB All-Star Game is scheduled for Cleveland, Ohio, and the 2020 MLB All-Star Game is scheduled for Los Angeles, California. The games for the 2021–2025 season are yet to be announced.
