Hosting[edit]
Australia[edit]
Australia had initially planned to bid to host the 2031 World Cup, but with France securing the 2023 tournament, offsetting the northern/southern hemisphere hosting pattern, Rugby Australia has joined bidding for the 2027 tournament.[1][2]
England[edit]
As of October 2018 the Rugby Football Union have indicated they will bid to host the 2031 world cup in England.[3]
