2or3

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

2or3 is a social media app for Christians first launched in January 2018 by Ingod Limited. The name 2or3 comes from the truth of Matthew 18:20: "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.".[1] 2or3 is a free app that allows users to stay in daily communication with their small groups, family, and friends. In the app, users can read the Bible, share prayer requests, discover upcoming events, engage in discussions, and more.

Features[edit]

Groups[edit]

2or3 users can connect with like-minded Christians in both public and private groups and build community through sharing Bible verses, prayer requests, and encouragement. Users can use a group QR code or Group PIN to invite people to a group and to join a group.

Prayer Requests[edit]

2or3 allows others to join users in praying for specific requests in their lives. Users can receive encouragement from their group members and notifications about who prayed for them. In addition, users can mark prayer requests as fulfilled to share the evidence of God’s work.

Private Messaging[edit]

2or3 users can have one-on-one conversations in the app. Users can develop friendships through sharing prayer requests, images, Bible verses, and more.

Events[edit]

Users can explore upcoming events in their areas, and organize and share activities, retreats, or other events with their friends and groups.

Bible[edit]

2or3 users can read the Bible individually and with others, as well as share verses and insights with group members and friends.

Usage[edit]

2or3 has apps for iOS and Android. Those who do not wish to use the app can still send and receive 2or3 messages through SMS. As of August 2018, 2or3 has more than 50,000 installs on Android[2]
