3.33 (Armenian ՝ Երեք երեսուներեք) is an Armenian musical hip-hop project, founded by Felix Khachatryan.
History
3.33 was founded in 2010 by Felix Khachatryan. At that time, 3.33 was known in Felix Khachatryan's friendly circles and had no album and fame ambitions. The project differed from other Armenian musical groups of that time in the absence of profanity and slang words which was specific to most popular rap groups, and in his desire to present literate and poetic music.
On August 3, 2010, the restaurant club "3.33"[1] was opened, which was part of a musical project. Since then, the group has been more formed, which also included Narek "A. Chilla", Delo, and DJ Serjo. He also had a hidden advertisement in one of the episodes of the Yere1 program,[2] for further awareness for the project. On November 16 of the same year, the YouTube channel of the project was created,[3] on which the song of the group "Mirror" was published on the same day.
The band's first full-length album is released on May 28, 2011. – With the name "Xachbar (Crossword)", which includes 16 musical compositions. Famous stars also participated in the album's songs, including Reincarnation, Qristine Pepelyan and others. The band also participated as agents in the comedy "Pesatsun Krkesits" (The Groom from the Circus), releasing the "Gortsakalner (Agents)" soundtrack for the film on October 17 of the same year. The film was also a revelation for the project, regularly increasing its visibility. 3.33 also voiced the intros to the first dozen episodes of the sixth season of the Yere1 project in 2011, releasing the full song in September 2012.
On March 3, 2013, the band's album "Gitem (I know)" was released, which was also a success, with an emphasis on a deeper and more lyrical focus. On October 3 of the same year, the song "Krkesic (From the Circus)" was released, which is currently one of the most popular and recognizable songs of the project.
On September 22, 2015, 3.33 released the album "Ogut te Vnas (Benefit or Harm )", and on May 28, 2016 – "Grak", expanding the lyrical and romantic themes: in particular, the songs "Melody" and "Winter Yerevan" from the album "Grak" are the most memorable. The songs "Banastextutsyun (Poem)", "Dzmerayin Yerevan (Winter Yerevan)" and other songs that go beyond the album genre also received recognition.
The album "Sary Sary (The Cold Mountain)" is released on June 12, 2018.
Starting in 2020, the project is significantly changing its musical focus, moving from lyrical music to love and romantic music. This approach is influenced by A. Chilla's album "Aysmolorakayin (From this Planet)", which defined the future musical style of the band.
In 2024, the 3.33 project joined the Amara music label, which operates in Armenia in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment and The Orchard music distributor. At the moment, the label also manages the 3.33's YouTube channel and releases instrumentals along with new songs. Some songs, such as "From the last page" and others, were also deleted as a result of the label's channel management.
Mi Qani Hogi, or "Several People"
The Mi Qani Hogi, or "Several People" project was created by Felix Khachatryan, A. Chilla, Misho and Reincarnation band's founder Roland Gasparyan in 2013. The project releases music with a more romantic bent, which has also gained wide recognition thanks to such songs as "Axjik-Chxjik (Bat-Girl)", "Dzmer (Winter)", "Es Pahin (At this moment)" and others.
The band's latest song, "Nkariq (You have Drawn)",[4] was released on January 25, 2023, after which there was no activity on the project's YouTube channel.
