30 Super Carry is an automatic pistol cartridge developed by Federal Premium Ammunition to provide kinetic energy comparable to a 9x19mm Parabellum in a smaller cartridge that allows greater capacity in defensive handguns carried by civilians.[1] The cartridge was introduced in 2022.
Handgun models using the 30 Super Carry include the Nighthawk Custom 1911[2] and the Smith and Wesson Shield Plus and Shield EZ.[3]
