Malik Corbett, known professionally as 33Boomin, was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He was introduced to music at a young age by his father, who was also musically inclined and encouraged early exposure to instruments such as piano. His sister was also involved in singing, which contributed to his early familiarity with recording and musical performance environments.
During his teenage years, Corbett became increasingly interested in music production. While attending school in Georgia, he was introduced to digital beat-making software, which marked the beginning of his transition into producing music. 33Boomin began producing music after discovering mobile-based beat-making software during high school, which led him to pursue production more seriously. He developed his skills as both a producer and audio engineer, focusing on creating original compositions.
He is best known for producing the track “Molly” by Foogiano, which achieved platinum certification in the United States. This success helped establish his presence in the hip-hop production scene.
Over time, he has worked with several notable artists including DaBaby, Lil Keed, YFN Lucci, K Camp, Omeretta The Great, Euro Gotit, Money Mu, and others. He has also had unreleased collaborations and studio work with various artists across the Atlanta hip-hop scene.
