35459 Klaurieger (provisional designation 1998 DG20) is a main-belt asteroid, approximately 5.1 kilometers (3.2 miles) in diameter. It was discovered on 27 February 1998, by the Czech astronomer Lenka Kotková at the Ondřejov Observatory, located near Prague.
Naming
This minor planet was named in honour of Klaudia Ivanics-Rieger (1989-2023), amateur astronomer, geographer, religious teacher, and founder of Bakony Astronomical Association in Hungary. She was the originator and creator of the exhibition entitled Tapintható Univerzum (Touchable Universe), which was the very first exhibition in Hungary to present the universe to visually impaired people.[1][3][4][5]
