About the journal[edit]
The 3L: Language Linguistics Literature[1], The Southeast Asian Journal of English Language Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal in the field of English language studies published by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.[2] It was established in 1992 and appears four times a year. Current editor in Chief is Tan Kim Hua (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in Bandar Baru Bangi[3], Selangor)
Aim and Scope[edit]
The journal is concerned with all aspects of English language studies but places a special emphasis on studies involving multicultural and multilingual communities and aspects.
Apart from research papers – also in related fields such as intercultural communication[4] and corpus-based studies, the body hosts workshops attended by academicians to discuss the ongoing contributions made in the field.
