3 One Oh is an American indie pop band formed in February 2018 in Los Angeles, California. The band currently consists of notable musicians Shari Short, Crash Cove, and Rick Seibold. The group rose to prominence in 2019 on the back of national ad campaigns for Google[3], and AT&T, and several television placements including American Idol, Shameless, Lucifer[4], and Good Trouble[5]. The band's debut album, 11:11, was released on July 23, 2019.[6]

History[edit]

Each of member of 3 One Oh has been established for years in their own rights. Singer/Songwriter Shari Short is a former Miss Teen Idaho[7] and signed with The Writing Camp Music Publishing/Sony ATV Music LLC in early-2010. She has had songs placed on Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, and got her first cut as a songwriter with Miley Cyrus[8][9] on the Hannah Montana soundtrack. She has written with artists such as Danielle Bradbury[10], Joe Jonas, Matthew Morrison and co-wrote the theme song with Jessica Simpson[11] and Evan Bogart for Simpson's television show "Price of Beauty" on VH1. She also co-wrote R.I.P. (Sofía Reyes song) for Sofia Reyes[12], Anitta, and Rita Ora[13], and sang background vocals for Demi Lovato for two years.[14][15] Crash Cove is a Dove Award winning producer with credits on BTS's song Dimple on the Love Yourself: Answer album[16] and Kerli's album Shadow Works. Rick Seibold has won two GMA Dove Awards as a producer for Bethel Music.[17] He received his first Billboard #1 album as a co-writer on the song "Glory to Glory" which appeared on Have It All (Bethel Music album). Subsequently, he's contributed to 3 other Billboard #1 albums, including Starlight (Bethel Music album). He's also had songs featured in over a hundred different television shows, including Grey’s Anatomy, Transparent, How To Get Away With Murder, and Rush Hour.

3 One Oh is formed out of the members' love for gritty rock and edgy vocals.[18] Their name comes from the Los Angeles area code, where the group was formed. The band has mentioned that numerous rock artists have influenced them, including Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepplin, Wolfmother, Green Day, Smash Mouth, Fleetwood Mac, The Darkness, Switchfoot, War, and B52's.
