418 Film
418 is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language horror-thriller film written and directed by debutant Kirtan Nadagouda. The film is presented by filmmaker Prashanth Neel and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. It stars Surya Raj, Charan Lakkaraju, Preethi Pagadala, Chaithra Achar, Shashank Patil, and Ramesh Indira in pivotal roles.[2]
Production
The film marks the feature directorial debut of Kirtan Nadagouda, who previously worked as an assistant and co-director alongside acclaimed filmmaker Prashanth Neel (known for KGF (film series) and Salaar). Neel acts as the presenter for the project.
The technical crew includes:
- Cinematography: Dinesh Divakaran
- Music Composer: Venky GG
- Production House: Mythri Movie Makers
Unlike many contemporary regional horror films that blend comedy elements, the creators of 418 have stated that the movie takes a strictly serious, atmospheric approach to psychological horror and tension. [3]
Plot
The narrative follows an 18-year-old protagonist named Vivek, who struggles to differentiate between reality and vivid hallucinations. The central mystery unfolds around the re-opening of the VIMS building, which had been sealed shut for 15 years. The dark secrets hidden inside Room No. 418 form the crux of the psychological thriller.
