4D Jones are an English blues, punk, gospel, and garage band. They were formed around 1986, following the disbandment of Morty McVicar, another Norwich-based band.[1] They have released three albums and perform mainly in East Anglia and London.[2] The band enjoys an enthusiastic local following.
Initial members of the band were Chris Evans (guitar), Dave Guttridge (bass), Kevin Revell (vocals), Martin Maudesley (harmonica), and Robert Masters (drums). In the early 1990s, Martin Maudesley was replaced by John-Boy Watcham, who has played harmonica and percussion to the present day.
Since 2022, 4D Jones have been playing at a number of UK festivals; they have become regular fixtures at the Red Rooster festival[3] and Camp Bestival[4].
