4udiodrug (born Roman Sh (Russian: Роман Ш); March 10, 2005) is a Russian singer, rapper, and music producer. He works in the genres of digicore, emocore, cloud rap, and experimental electronic music. He is known for his activity on TikTok and SoundCloud.
Biography
Roman Sh was born on March 10, 2005, in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He spent his childhood and adolescence there. In 2023, at the age of 18, he moved to Florida (St. Petersburg/Tampa area, United States).
He began seriously engaging in music in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. His first alias was GDFTRP, under which he produced and released phonk. Later, he experienced creative burnout and temporarily stepped away from music. Upon returning, he first focused exclusively on beatmaking, and after some time began recording his own full tracks.
The stage name 4udiodrug comes from the English phrase audio-drug ("sound drug"). The artist explains that he wants his music to be catchy, unique, and "viral".
Musical style and concept
4udiodrug produces most of his tracks himself in FL Studio and occasionally incorporates live guitar. His style blends melancholic emotional melodies, fast digicore beats, cloud rap elements, and dungeon aesthetics.
He actively develops the concept of the Dark Prince. The visual and musical identity of the project is closely connected with themes of melancholy, dungeon vibe, and greyrock aesthetics.
