5KPlayer is a media player, streaming media server and video downloader for Windows and macOS.[1] It is developed in January 2015 by DearMob, Inc.,[2] a mobile software developing company that strives to create useful software compatible with different platforms such as Windows, macOS and iOS. 5KPlayer supports various audio and video compression methods and file formats, including DVD-Video, video CD and streaming protocols. It supports high resolution up to 4K resolution. And it also plays Internet radio.
5KPlayer supports Apple's AirPlay technology.[3] It acts both as an AirPlay sender (client) and receiver (server); in other words, it can mirror the screens of iPad and iPhone devices on Windows and macOS computers and is able to transmit video and music on a computer to an Apple TV or other AirPlay-receiving appliances.
The default distribution of 5KPlayer includes a large number of built-in decoding and encoding libraries that it can play multimedia files. 5KPlayer has gained received positive reviews [4] and good ratings [5] as of now.

5KPlayer is a media player supporting all common video and audio content, and some rare file formats. It also plays DVD disc, ISO image, Video_TS and VOB files. Listening to online radios with it is available as well.
2. Download Movie/Music[edit]
With the built-in URL analyzing technology, 5KPlayer recognizes the URL and download video music from online sites. It can convert the videos in the playlist to music in the format of MP3 and AAC.
3. AirPlay Media[edit]
5KPlayer supports AirPlay technology to screen mirroring iPhone and iPad to Mac or PC, and stream videos music from computer to Apple TV or other AirPlay receivers.
