5th planet games
5th planet games (previously known as Hugo Games) is a Danish games publisher and developer founded in 2011. The company mainly publishes and develops mobile, Facebook and browser games. The company is listed on the Oslo Axess. Currently it operates studios in Copenhagen, Berlin and Rocklin.[1] [2] [3]

5th planet games was founded as Hugo Games in 2011. Initially the company focussed on the production of games centred around the character of Hugo. The character of Hugo was created by the Danish company Interactive Television Entertainment (ITE) in 1990. Since 2017 the company is listed on the Oslo Axess stock exchange.
With the expansion of the game portfolio (with games not including the character of Hugo) and the acquisition of the US-based company 5th planet games, the company decided in 2018 to take-over the name and identity of its acquisition target.[4] [5]
