Aiden Ballard (born August 11, 2007), known professionally as 730 Census, is an American hip hop record producer, songwriter, and music executive. He is the founder of 730 Records and signed to 1017 Global Music, a label founded by Gucci Mane. Census has produced music for a range of mainstream and emerging hip hop artists, contributing to production, songwriting, and project development.
Early life
Aiden Ballard grew up in Bardstown, Kentucky. He began experimenting with music production in 2020, inspired by the works of DDG and PlaqueBoyMax. By exploring beat-making and recording software, he developed a production style that combines melodic synth lines with dynamic trap percussion.
Career
In 2023, Census founded 730 Records, an emerging record label through which he releases his own music and manages collaborations with both established and emerging artists. He later launched 730 Music Group, which offers label services to artists on a paid basis without requiring them to be formally signed.
Census is signed to 1017 Records and has produced tracks for artists including Trippie Redd, Dro Kenji, DC The Don, Midwxst, OsamaSon, Toosii, NoCap, Boslen, Mike Dimes, Scorey, Polo G and Li Rye. His work spans singles, album tracks, and mixtapes, often contributing both production and songwriting.
Census Unplugged
Census Unplugged is a concert series hosted by 730 Records featuring live performances from both emerging and established hip hop artists, along with live renditions of tracks produced by Census. The first two editions took place at Bayfront Park and drew a combined attendance of approximately 55,000 people. The event has been recognized for high production quality, diverse artist lineups, and integration of multimedia stage elements.
