The 8-Bit Big Band is a 30-65 member jazz orchestra founded by Charlie Rosen in 2017.[1][2] The group arranges and performs music from various video games including Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Kirby (series), among others.[1][3]
The group's first album Press Start was released in June of 2017. Their third album Backwards Compatible (2021) features "Meta Knight's Revenge", which was awarded a Grammy for Best Arrangement, Instrumental.[2][4][5][6]
