The 8002A is an amplifier integrated circuit used in low powered computer audio such as USB powered speakers.

The unit is described as a Class-AB audio power amplifier.

The circuit is listed on the Shenhensum corporate website. (http://www.shenzhensum.com/) as a 2 Watt Audio Power Amplifier

Specifications:

   Power output at 5.0V, 10% THD+N, 4 Ohms 2.0 W
   Power output at 5.0V, 1% THD+N, 8 Ohms 1.5 W
   2.2V – 5.5V operation

In the application circuit shown, two 8002As are used, which gives an output of 2.0 W per channel for a total of 4 Watts.
