80 Dyce Airlink

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

80 Jet Connect (previously named 80 Dyce Airlink) is a service that since April 2, 2012 has been operated, by Stagecoach.[citation needed] The service runs Monday to Friday, is numbered "80", and is provided in partnership with both Aberdeen City Council and NESTRANS.

History[edit]

The service started in 2008 as 80 Dyce Airlink, and was provided by First Aberdeen. In 2011, the service was re-tendered and taken over by Central Coaches, at which point an X80 service was launched on Saturdays; however, the service ceased operating in January 2012. Following the transferral of the service to Stagecoach, it will be revamped, including its new name, and will complement the company's successful JET 727 service that links Aberdeen City Centre with the Airport.[citation needed]

Route[edit]

The service operates from Dyce station to Aberdeen Airport and Heliport, in addition to servicing the Kirkhill Industrial Estate and Pitmedden Industrial Estate.[1]
