80s In The Park Music Festival
a 3 day 80s rock music festival held annually in Brevard County Florida. Billed as the biggest 80s weekend since the 80s. The event hosted hair metal band performances from bands that charted in the 1980s. Comprised of multiple performances each day, the 80s in the park event was established in 2013 by event promoters Richard Hendry and Kyle Hendry. Since its opening weekend September 28th and 29th, 2013, the event has played 20 bands each weekend each year from 2013 to 2018.

Hurricane Irma hits 80s in the park 2017 Venue
The 2017 event was scheduled for September 22nd to 24th, 2017. Controversies
In 2013 Gallagher was scheduled to be the MC of the opening year event. Reports of Gallagher not performing as contracted resulted in a law suit brought by the comedian's then manager against the promoters.
