9/11 Predictive Programming is a conspiracy theory that was stating that the attacks on the twin towers were planned.

History[edit]

Many people said that in an episode of the Simspons called "The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson", when Bart shows a magazine with the twin towers next to the number 9, it looks like it says 9/11.[1] That gained popularity very quickly and people started finding many other "signs" in cartoons, movies, and books, including: Back To The Future, Johnny Bravo, Asi sufre Latino America, Trade Center Defender, and much more.[2]

In Johnny Bravo, there was a poster on a wall that had a burning tower with a "Coming Soon" on top of it. In the poster of a song of Roy Harper, there was a picture of the twin towers with a "No Ever Gets Out Alive" text. One of Supertramp's album was also mentioned as having predictive programming for the attacks. [3]

Examples:[edit]

  • The Simpsons - "To Surveil With Love" (May 2, 1997): There is a picture of a magazine showing the twin towers next to the number 9, making it look like 9/11 in some ways.[4]
  • The Coup Party Music (Early 2001): There is a picture of the band members next to the twin towers as they are burning.[4]
  • Beavis and Butthead - Vice Magazine (1994): There is a picture showing some terrorists in planes flying towards the twin towers.
  • Illuminati: The Game of Conspiracy (Early '80s): Some cards show the twin towers exploding and another one the Pentagon exploding.[4]
  • Sesame Street (1976): The poster of one episode shows a monster destroying the twin towers.[4]
  • Back To The Future (1986): It shows 2 trees on a mall flashing making it look like the twin towers burning.
