The A-10 Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team is a United States Air Force flight demonstration team currently based at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona. The team flies the A-10C Thunderbolt II (also known as the Warthog) at airshows across North America performing aerial maneuvers that demonstrate the combat capability of the aircraft. Maneuvers that are shown consist of mock close ground support, minimal radius turns, and high speed and low speed passes. Additionally, the team brings attention to the air force's history by flying formations with historical aircraft in the Air Force Heritage Flight, such as the P-51 Mustang, F-86 Super Sabre, and the P-38 Lightning.
For the past few years, the demonstration team has flown themed/painted aircraft to represent former aircraft and highlights moments in military history.
The current demo pilot is Captain Lindsay "MAD" Johnson, the first female A-10 demo pilot in the program's history.
