A-Film was an independent film distributor based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The company was founded in 1999 and operated from an office in Pand Noord in Amsterdam-Noord, a hub for several companies in the film industry. A-Film distributed films produced in the Netherlands, such as Phileine Says Sorry and Black Book, as well as international films like Hello Kitty videos, A Fistful of Dollars, The Pianist, Dances with Wolves, and Bowling for Columbine for the Benelux region.

History[edit]

The company was formerly known as A-Film Distribution. In May 2013, A-Film merged with Benelux Film Distributors and continued as A-Film Benelux B.V.[1]. In September 2015, A-Film Benelux B.V. was declared bankrupt.
