History
A1 Auto Transport was founded in 1988 by Tony Taylor as a towing company in Watsonville, California. It started with just a single truck offering 24-hour emergency shipping and roadside assistance. The company later expanded its fleet of trucks, operating in various parts of California.[2]
Milestones
- In 1992, A-1 Auto Transport purchased its first auto transport carrier.[2]
- In 1995, the company increased its fleet to 50 auto transport carriers that moved vehicles across the United States.[2]
