From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

AAL Shipping, founded in 1995, is a maritime transport company based in Singapore, with 14 offices abroad. AAL established a scheduled multipurpose heavy lift liner service between Australia, North Asia and South East Asia to move steel and other mined commodities northwards from Australia, to serve the infrastructure boom taking place at that time across Asia.[1]

The company operates a fleet of specialist multipurpose heavy lift vessels totalling 734,600 deadweight tonnes (dwt) and comprising a number of ‘Mega-Size’ vessels (+30,000 dwt) that offer over 40,000 cubic metres (cbm) cargo intake volumes and maximum lift capabilities of 700 tonnes.[2] Each vessel is designed to accommodate multiple cargo types, including project heavy lift, breakbulk and dry bulk commodities and all at the same time.
