ADDA is a software for Communication, Management, Billing, Accounting and Security in Residential Communities. ADDA connects neighbors who live in apartments with the help of its apartment management system. Residents use this product for making payments and booking services related to their apartment. Management committees use this product for handling apartment complex's finances, assets and staff.[1] The company earns its revenue based on subscriptions from home owners associations.[2]

ADDA was founded by San Banerjee and Venkat Kandaswamy. ADDA launched the prototype of an online apartment management portal in 2008. Subsequently, ADDA launched its app for apartment residents to connect with neighbors and make payments from mobile. ADDA partners with a network of chartered accountants and other accounting professionals who manage accounts of Housing Societies or Apartment Owners Associations. These partners uses ADDA to manage the financials of the apartment complexes.[3] The company launched and grew without outside funding and later received its angel investment in 2013.[4]
