AGS2019 Area II sections
AGS 2019 Area II Sections There were 9 sections of Area II in 2019, each with a unique approach towards helping the students develop critical thinking skills. Each section was encouraged to think of themselves as 'a tribe' to some extent, with some sections taking the theme further than others.

- Section 7 Taught by Dan Warwick, much of the focus involved exploring the dual-system model of the mind and how emotions play a critical role in our thinking processes. This was particularly salient during the classroom discussions of logical fallacies.

In keeping with past tradition, Area II instructors encouraged students to explore and consider the concepts presented in The Allegory of the Cave as well as in The Ones who Walk away from Omelas.
