Ahimsa Entertainment is an Indian film distribution and production company, based in the United Kingdom. Ahimsa Entertainment brings Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada & Malayalam films to a wider audience via their overseas distribution network. As of 2022, the company is working on a project to break into the film production industry and has acquired distribution rights for the highly anticipated Tamil film Varisu directed by Vamsi Pedippally and starring Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna, which is to be released in 2023.
History
Film Distribution. The 2022 action picture *Beast*, directed by Nelson and starring Vijay, Pooja Hegde, and Selvaraghavan, was Ahimsa Entertainment's first step into cinema distribution, with a record number of screens planned and premiere shows for fans in the US. The organisation began to establish a broad network of ties with the most prominent production companies, film studios, and performers in Indian cinema. With a barrage of press articles, social media updates, and a genuine online presence that interacts with its base, they have managed to distribute films like *Cobra*, *Prince*, *Love Today*, *Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu*, etc., in the UK.
