The AIPS Sport Media Awards is an international prize for the sport media industry, recognising works in newspapers, magazines, television, radio, photography and digital media including blogs.

The first edition of the Awards ceremony will be held in Lausanne in January 2019. Prizes are awarded yearly in six main categories.

Each winner receives a certificate and a US$8,000 cash award. Second-placed receive US$3,000 and third-placed, US$2,000.

Every professional journalist and photographer is entitled to participate, as long as they belong to one of the 160 countries that are part of the AIPS network [1] .
