AJ Mitchell
Aaron Fredrick Mitchell (born May 17, 2001), better known as AJ Mitchell, is an American singer and songwriter born and raised in Bellville, IL. He gained a following by posting cover videos and original songs on Instagram and YouTube.[1] In 2016, AJ moved to Los Angeles, CA.
Career[edit]
In 2017, AJ released his first independent single "Used To Be", a song he wrote at age 13. "Used to Be" has now gained over 40 Million Streams. AJ signed his first major label deal with EPIC Records in February 2018. AJ’s first studio EP with Epic Records Hopeful, was released in July 2018 with first single "Girls" charting at US Top 40 Pop Radio.[2] In November 2018, Billboard and Vevo named AJ one of the top 19 artists to watch in 2019.[3] AJ is headlining his first US tour in spring 2019.[4]
