History
Founded in 2009 by two computer science engineers, Rodrigo Nuñez and Carlos Wong, Akurey started its journey as "Intelligent Sense" and eventually evolved into its current name. Rodrigo, also a teacher at the Costa Rica Institute of Technology, has played a pivotal role in bringing together the best quality engineers from the universities and the country to work at Akurey.[citation needed]
