ALAYN (/ɑːleɪɪn /) is the pseudonym and professional alias of Alain Bonus (Filipino-American artist, record producer, and mixing engineer);[1][2][3] ALAYN's music has been described as a blend between the genre's of electro-pop/downtempo dream-pop, and alternative r&b.[4][5][6]

Brief history
ALAYN, also known as Alain Bonus, was born in Manila, Philippines, but grew up in Los Angeles/Newport Beach, California (migrating to the United States in the year of 2001[7]) and graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2015 with a Bachelor's degree in Economics.[6][7][2]Bonus first started his musical career based out of Los Angeles, California but now currently resides in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.[1] Alain Bonus' first single under alias "ALAYN" was "Drive" in 2019.[8] In 2021, ALAYN released a single called "Positive Thoughts" that was premiered on Ottawa Canada's Top 40 Radio Station, Hot 89.9 (owned by Stingray Radio), marking ALAYN's first Top 40 radio debut, appearance, and featured broadcast segment.[1]
