AMC Bridge provides software development and IT consulting services to organizations from the engineering, manufacturing, and AEC industries. The corporate headquarters is in Waltham, Massachusetts, USA. Five development centers operate in Ukraine: Dnipro, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy, Chernivtsi, and Lviv. As of 2021, more than 700 professionals work at AMC Bridge[1].

History[edit]

1999. AMC Bridge was founded.

2000. The first long-term contract for providing custom software development services was signed.

2001. AMC Bridge entered the engineering software market by signing a contract with SolidWorks.

2008. The team grew to 100 employees.

2013. A development center was opened in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine.

2015. D3D, the first engineering software conference for developers in Dnipro, took place. A development center was opened in Sumy, Ukraine.

2016. AMC Bridge was ranked on the Inc. 5000 and Global Outsourcing 100® lists. A development center was opened in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. DOU.ua, the largest community of developers in Ukraine, ranked AMC Bridge as the best employer among IT companies with 200-800 employees in Ukraine and the best IT-employer in Dnipro City.

2018. Representative offices were opened in Japan and Europe.

2019. A development center was opened in Lviv, Ukraine.

2020. DOU.ua ranked AMC Bridge as number two among the IT companies with 200-800 employees in Ukraine and the best IT employer in Chernivtsi City. Hiring all over Ukraine has started.

Industries and clients[edit]

AMC Bridge provides its services to companies from multiple industries[2][3]: construction, mechanical engineering, architecture, additive manufacturing, generative design, AR, VR, IoT, and robotics. Among AMC Bridge’s clients are the world leaders in engineering software, such as Autodesk[4] [5], Dassault Systems, PTC, Siemens PLM, ARAS, and some prominent manufacturing and construction companies. The company also serves the start-up community in the industries of its expertise[6].

Social responsibility and educational initiative[edit]

AMC Bridge provided its 3D Programming and Computer Graphics course to five Ukrainian universities (2018-2019). The company is a member of the Dnipro IT Community. AMC Bridge supports educational, social, and sports initiatives in the cities where its development centers are located. For four years in a row, the company has been an official hub for Hash Code, the Google’s team-based coding competition.

D3D[edit]

D3D or Demystifying 3D Development is a conference for software developers that AMC Bridge has been arranging in Dnipro since 2015[7]. In 2020, the event went online. All speakers are developers and other specialists in the engineering software industry.

The conference topics are as follows: robotics simulation, real numbers comparison, parallel computing using the Nvidia® CUDA® platform, game development with the Unity® Entity Component System, using the Unreal Engine® real-time 3D creation tool for engineering software development, and so on.
