The APEX Client Extension (ACE) is a configurable browser built using the Electron framework. By editing the config.json
file developers can add several client-features (clipboard access, definition of global keyboard shortcuts, window level menus, desktop notifications, run shell scripts) to the applications they built using Oracle Application Express.
This open-source project was launched in July 2016 by the software company FOEX GmbH and is available for free usage on GitHub.
