Bezalel launched a Kickstarter campaign for the ARK on January 13, 2014.[4] Within three days, the campaign garnered attention from media outlets.[5][6][7] By the end of the campaign, it surpassed its fundraising goal, raising $131,939 in total. Ark was ranked among "the top 3 Kickstarter projects" in the Technology category for the entirety of the campaign period and was featured by TechCrunch,[8] Buzzfeed[9] during the campaign. In December 2014, the campaign was named a top 10 Kickstarter campaign of 2014 by both PCR[10] and SiliconIndia News.[11][12][13][14][15][16][17]
Product Description
ARK is a portable wireless charger (inductive charging) for smartphones and smartwatches, which uses the Qi (inductive power standard). The ARK recharges mobile devices through contact with its top surface. Its size and weight are 92x92x22mm and 170 grams; it has a capacity of 7,000 mAh and features a wireless output of 1A and a USB output (for wired charging) at 2A. The charger comes in white or black.
Devices compatibility
The ARK is compatible with all Qi built-in devices, including smartphones, tablets, and wearables, such as Google Nexus 5 / 7 (2013) / 4, Nokia Lumia 1020 / 928 / 920, HTC Droid DNA, MOTOROLA Droid Maxx / Droid Mini, MOTO 360, etc. And ARK can also charge non-Qi-compatible devices by installing a wireless charging patch or case onto the device, such as Samsung Galaxy S5 / S4 / S3, Samsung Note 4 / 3 / 2, iPhone 6 / 6 Plus / 5 / 5C / 5S / 4, LG G3, etc.
