ARTĒ Madrid is an international Spanish jewellery brand and retailer founded by the Barranco family in 1898 in Madrid, Spain. The origin of its name is from the Spanish word “Arte”. Its brand belief is “Present is Love”.
History
ARTĒ Madrid was founded in 1898 by the Barranco family. ARTĒ Madrid jewels are conceived by European jewellery designers. [1] Jordi Barranco, the 4th generation, studied in Italy where he was inspired by the style of Baroque. After that, he began to introduce a more creative and colourful style into ARTĒ Madrid.
In the late 1990s, ARTĒ Madrid pioneered the use of synthetic gemstones and debuted at Vicenza, Italy in 2000. In 2014, ARTĒ Madrid won the Darizi Award in the category of Best Wedding Accessories. [2] In 2011–2013 and 2015–2017, the spokesperson for ARTĒ Madrid was Miriam Yeung, a Hong Kong actress and singer. [3]
Distribution Network
Sales of the ARTĒ Madrid brand began in Europe and it first entered Asia and Greater China in the 2000s.
