Development
Vivian Laughman is a pony breeding farm manager who graduated from Centenary College with a degree in equine studies.[1] Since she left her career as a full-time riding instructor in 2015, she has worked in a barn as a caretaker. After becoming a mother in early 2022, she often read books to her daughter, which gave her inspiration to write her own. The depictions of the ponies in her book are based on two real ponies at the barn she works in.
