A Thousand Little Cuts is a 2022 psychological drama written and directed by Joshua Brandon and produced by Spitfire Films in association with Filmstreet Productions and RcR Cinema.[1] It stars Rebecca Liddiard, Marina Sirtis, Andrew Creer, Randy Wayne, and Colin Ferguson. Producers include; Joshua Brandon, Peter Foldy, Ronald Wiskup, and Duke Fleischer, and cast by Ricki Maslar.[2]

Plot[edit]

Anne Bennett (Rebecca Liddiard) wakes up from a minor operation, however she quickly discovers that she is being held against her will by the hospital psychiatrist, Dr. Monica Atlas (Marina Sirtis). Dr. Atlas has Anne review the events leading up to her surgery for which Anne discloses previous relationships and struggles at work. Unable to remember anything about the event related to her injury or the people involved, Anne must confront and remember or she will not be allowed to leave. Added pressure form Detective Mile Olson (Colin Ferguson) challenges Dr. Atlas to get the truth both quickly and safely as to not traumatize Anne all over again.[3]

Production[edit]

A Thousand Little Cuts was filmed in [Guthrie, Oklahoma] and [Oklahoma City, Oklahoma] between November 20 - Dec 12, 2019.[4]

Rebecca Liddiard joined the project both the star and Executive Producer in May if 2019. The complete cast was officially announced November 4, 2019, to include Marina Sirtis, Andrew Creer, Colin Ferguson, Randy Wayne, and Nazanin Nour.

Release[edit]

A Thousand Little Cuts premiered at the Leammle Glendale in Los Angeles on May 3rd, 2022.[5]
