History

A Work of Substance is a multidisciplinary design studio founded in Hong Kong in 2011 by creative director Maxime Dautresme and Florian Michaux.[4][5] The firm maintains an additional office in Dubai.[6]

Initially focused on branding and strategy for the hospitality, retail, and fashion sectors, the studio has expanded its scope to include architectural, interior, and product design.[7]
