Aashish Rego
Aashish Rego is an Indian Music Composer, Background Music Director and a well-known personality in the music composing, recording and publishing industry. Aashish has scored background music for "Balika Vadhu", one of the longest running TV serials on Indian Television. He has given music for many web series like "Baarish" and many more. He has also produced Nana Patekar’s starrer Marathi Language Feature Film "Pak Pak Pakak".[1]
Aashish is actively involved in Industry matters like Music Royalties, IP protection, licensing laws improvements, etc. He is General Secretary of industry body Music Composers Association of India (MCAI) and working as Vice Chairman of APMA (Asia Pacific Music Creators Alliance)[2].
On 15th August, 2020, Indian PM Hon. Mr. Narendra Modi had tweeted about a rendition of the popular patriotic song "Vande Mataram" composed by Aashish Rego for MCAI.
Aashish continues to work on many television series, web series and film music projects. He is also actively composing songs for the independent music industry through the music label "Indemus".
