Abars
Abars (阿 拔 國[1]) - not to be confused with Avars.
Abars - a relic of an ancient ethnic group, whose fame resounded to the 6th century.
Iakinf Bichurin said about Abars, that they not are Xiongnu, not Tiele, not Turk groups, but Abars were "Main generation» in Asia.[2] B.A.Muratov classifies Abars as the eastern branch of Aorsen.[3]
Abar also mentioned in the 7th century, after which were conquered Ashina.
History[edit]
General of the Army of Xianbei - Tanshihay sent to Dzungaria army with Mukri. Mukri are tungus tribe groups. This army reached on the northern slopes of the Tianshan Mountains to Tarbagatai and was there stopped by tribe Abars, which are considered the most militant in the steppes of Asia.[4]
