Abba Yusuf Magaji popularly known as Bichi Jr[1] (born 27 December 2003)[2] is a Nigerian Football Player who plays as a forward and right winger for Nigeria U17[3]and Talentbase Sport FC [4] and also he is brand ambassador to 5stars football [5][6][7] [8][9]
Early Life[edit]
Bichi Jr. born on December 27, 2003, the youngster hails from Kano but was bred in Abuja.[10] His jersey name, Bichi Jr., took after his hometown, Bichi, a local government in Kano,[11] one of the two most populous states in the country. Formally, he is Abba Yusuf Bichi–and he was born of Messrs. Aisha and Yusuf Magaji Bichi. Many who have followed the unfolding of the last U-17 World Cup in Brazil[3] and the Chinese division 1 tournament, of the wonderkid.[12] His pace, ball control and dribbling prowess leave many stunned.[13] The youngster embody them all, leaving spectators with moments to remember at every turn. He is one of Golden Eaglets’ leading stars.[14] But here is how he started.[15][16]
Football Career[edit]
Bichi Jr.[17] started his football career in the streets of Abuja at a young age.[18] From futsal to street football, he nurtured his ambition to be the next Neymar[19] through an all-out dedication from strength to strength.[20] In no long, his exploits became of note and was called up to join FC Wuse in Abuja in 2015,[21] to begin his transformation into a professional footballer[22]. But his extraordinary abilities were soon to throw him into a global limelight. At Wuse FC,[23] China’s Yingkou Chagoyue FC[24] came calling for his services.[25] The promising kid became a constant object for talent hunt. In China again, Yingkou Chaoyue,[26]after a goalscoring spree of 18 in 30 appearances, sought to covet him in there linup, recently in June 2020 Bichi Jr founded a football club named Bichi Fc[27][28]
International Career[edit]
There, at the age of 15, he was called up to join his country’s 21-man[29] squad for the 2018 U17 World Cup in Brazil[30][31]. Though they did not cross the round 16, Golden Eaglets still remain one of the teams with the most records in the tournament’s history,[32] with five world cups and three runner up positions to their names.[33][34]
