Early life and career

As a child, she was inspired by the children's drawing show, Pappyland.[4] In high school, Lossing enjoyed making her own clothing, and upon graduation began studying fashion design at Syracuse University.[2] Following her graduation from Syracuse University with a degree in Illustration, Lossing promptly gained a position as a staff illustrator at Buzzfeed, which had a huge impact on her personal work[2]. After two years with Buzzfeed, Lossing then became employed by Vice News Tonight on HBO creating graphics and illustrations. Lossing's work utilizes playful patterns and rich colors to create stylish everyday scenes. Lossing currently works as a freelance illustrator and designer. [5]
