Abigail C. "Abby" Hancock (born December 3, 1986) held the title of Miss Alaska in 2010 and competed in the Miss America 2011 Pageant on January 15, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada.[1] She is a weekend producer at KTUU-TV and competed at Miss Alaska as Miss Anchorage.[2] She also received the Lifestyle & Fitness Award at the Miss Alaska pageant.[3]
She is 28 years old and a Journalism student at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Her platform is "Raising Global Citizens: The World is our Classroom" and her goal is to promote foreign exchange student programs and foreign language education throughout the state of Alaska.[4]
